About Santa Clara EV Charger Installation

A licensed electrical contractor that does charging infrastructure and the service behind it, and leaves the rest of the trade to someone else.

Our story

How a Narrow Trade Became the Whole Business

Specialising was a decision, not an accident. Electric vehicles arrived in Santa Clara County faster than almost anywhere in the country, and the electrical trade responded the way it responds to any new demand: everybody added it to the list. The predictable result was a lot of chargers installed by people doing their first one, on circuits sized by habit rather than calculation, and a steady supply of homeowners wondering why the breaker kept tripping. Santa Clara EV Charger Installation took the opposite route and narrowed down to this work alone.

The city itself shaped how the business runs. Santa Clara is older than most of its neighbours, and a large share of its homes still sit on the 100-amp service they were built with, in neighbourhoods like the Old Quad, Forest Park and the streets around Benton Street. That means the honest answer to “can I have a charger” is frequently “not until we look at your panel”, and a company that cannot say that comfortably ends up either selling unnecessary upgrades or installing circuits that should never have been approved. The free load calculation exists because it is the only way to answer the question properly.

What the company stands for now is narrow and checkable. Prices are written down before work begins and do not move. Permits are pulled through the City of Santa Clara and inspections are attended by us. Rebate paperwork for Silicon Valley Power is prepared rather than pointed at. And when the answer to a customer's question is one that costs us a job, we give it anyway, because the alternative does not survive contact with a neighbourhood where everybody talks.

What We Are Trying to Get Right

To make getting a charger installed a boring, predictable transaction: an honest assessment of what the house can carry, one number in writing, a permit that someone else files, and an install that passes inspection the first time.

Charging should not require the customer to become an expert in load calculations, receptacle grades or utility rebate programmes in order to avoid being sold the wrong thing. Carrying that burden on the customer's behalf, and being plain about it when the news is not what they hoped, is the whole job.

Six Reasons People Book With Us

01

The quote is a number, not a range

After the assessment you receive one flat figure covering labour, materials, permit and inspection. It is what you pay, and it does not acquire line items on install day.

02

The assessment is genuinely free and genuinely useful

Even if you do not book, you leave knowing your panel's spare capacity and what amperage your home can realistically support. That is worth having regardless of who does the work.

03

Santa Clara's permitting and utility route is a specialism here

This city runs its own Permit Center and its own electric utility in Silicon Valley Power, which is a different path from the PG&E route used across the rest of the county. Local familiarity shortens the timeline.

04

EVITP certification and a C-10 licence, both checkable

Charger installation is a trained specialism with its own credential, and we hold it. Ask to see the licence number and the certification; that is what they are for.

05

Manufacturer certification across the brands people actually buy

Tesla, ChargePoint, Wallbox, Enphase, Emporia and Grizzl-E units installed and commissioned to the published method, which keeps your hardware warranty valid.

06

Everything in writing, including the warranty

The scope, the price, the permit and the workmanship warranty are all documented. Across California, and across Santa Clara County in particular, that is a lower bar than it ought to be in this trade.

Credentials You Can Verify

Credentials are only useful if they can be checked, so here is the full list rather than a badge graphic. We hold a California C-10 electrical contractor licence and carry both general liability insurance and workers' compensation cover. Installers are certified through the Electric Vehicle Infrastructure Training Program, the industry's dedicated credential for charging infrastructure.
